I am a Swedish-American that spent the past twenty-five plus years in the U.S. I am happily married to an IMG and had prior roommates who are now doctors and dentists within the U.S. This has given me an insight into the world of medicine and dentistry.
I understand the struggles in developing the necessary professional skills in English and what it takes to be successful. My personal background includes receiving a master’s degree in international relations and over a decade working in immigration that includes professional and technical writing.
Since 2011, I have been studying and working within the globalized world, living in several countries and communicating with people from all over the world. Due to my interaction within these communities, I found out that it was hard for them to succeed in the U.S. due to their inability to write professionally in English. This provided a starting point for PEFFA USA, which was created in 2016 to work on editing and reviewing personal statements and CV’s for foreign doctors and dentists. As of today, I have over 10 years experience in working with foreign professionals in many fields of work and from all over the world.
Being an author and editor, I’ve published my first book and completed a certificate in technical and professional writing to help me excel and learn new skills within my business. Writing is an art form and I want to engage the audience by creating the best work in English that I can for any document that is submitted. My focus and passion has been to help individuals who are seeking professional opportunities in the U.S. and make them be successful.
